Lisa McKinzie
I began my dream of being a teacher when I was 7 years old. I set up a full classroom in my basement and taught my younger siblings, dolls, or whoever would fill my student desks. My passion for teaching continued to grow, and in high school, I sought out many opportunities to work with children including teaching Vacation Bible School, Sunday school, and developing my own Kiddie Kamp.
I attended college at Park University where I graduated with Bachelors’ degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I have taught 2nd grade in a public school, kindergarten in a private school, preschool as a private instructor, and homeschooled my five children for many years.
I believe all children are a blessing, and I have been truly blessed in all my experiences working with children. Although I enjoy teaching any age child, preschoolers have always been my favorite. It has been my lifelong dream to start my own preschool, and I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your child!
